The first time I ordered Toppers months ago I hated it, but no where was open past 11 for delivery besides here so I decided to give Toppers another shot. The Spicy Pepperoni is so much better than the original, it adds flavor to the pizza. Theres better pizza places, but if its late and you want something fast and good I suggest Toppers. The pizza got here so hot too! Definitely pleased :)

Called to order.... no one answered. Ordered online, cause maybe they’re busy, ya know benfit of the doubt. It’s now been over an hour since we ordered. Will our pizza ever show up? Probably not. It’s a shame because I love toppers. Don’t think we’ll be ordering from this location again.

I give this a 3* rating only because Michael, the manager, was so gracious. Otherwise the staff showed gross incompetence:

Hey Scott, 

I want to fill you in on my Toppers experience tonight. I ordered two large 2 topping pizzas and a triple topperstix at 7:15 pm CST. I received a confirmation e-mail of delivery at 7:57 CST. At 8:17, 20 minutes after expected delivery, we still had not received our pizza, so I called the store in Burnsville, MN. 

I was informed by the young woman on the phone that the online ordering system was "off" and that my pizza was on the road. I was annoyed by this but figured, "it's new year's day, its 8 pm, they're probably busy."

Fast forward to 8:50 pm CST when my guests and I still have not received our pizza. I called the store and was told by the young man on the phone that he couldn't find my order in his system, so he out me on hold to talk to the manager. After being on hold for 3 minutes, our call disconnected (no big deal, phone calls disconnect all the time).

I call the store back and I talk to Michael, the store manager. He tells me that the order must have been delivered to a different address since he has record of the order going out. He says he'll restart my order and send it out right away. I commend Michael for this and he comps me the order as well as my next order at the store. I cannot emphasize how much I appreciate Michael for doing this, but the next 60 minutes demonstrate gross incompetence at his store. 

After 55 minutes of waiting I've decided at 9:55 CST I am going to call the store back. As I am dialing the number for the store, the delivery driver shows up. My wife goes to the door with a $20 so we can give him a tip for his service but he shoves the pizza at my wife and leaves with a look of concern on his face. It is obvious he knows the story of this pizza and doesn't want to be confronted (I worked in retail for 6 years, I know the feeling).

Long story short, my guests and I enjoyed the pizza but had to wait almost 3 hours to receive it. I'm not looking for additional compensation as Michael was very accommodating in covering for the screw-ups of his staff (as he should be). I am a high school math teacher and would want to know if one of my substitute teachers performed this poorly, so I felt the need to reach out to you.

Late delivery. Called and the driver just left but no explanation as to why it took so long.  Called back to cancel order, got explanation at that time.  Poor communication!  Just tell me what's going on and I'll def understand what's up.  Too bad... I enjoyed this place but it's going downhill.
