I came here for my birthday and got $20 off. I always come here for the look of the restaurant and the portion sizes of the food sharing with a group of people. It's a great atmosphere and would love to dine in the kitchen one of these days. I had a sparkling sangria that was really good! I love the meatballs and shrimp dishes here. I didn't get free desert tho just candles... I came here a few years back and got a free slice of cake so that may depend on the locations...

I love this place  the food portion is huge. The staff are very nice, warm and funny. When you first come in the staff will take through the tour of the place and even through the kitchen. The food is very delicious. Come hungry. Me and my four friends shared a lasagna meal. And the breads were also very good.

The food here is always good and served "family style." I took a friend of mine whose mother was from Italy and she said that it tasted very authentic. The decor is very goofy and amusing (like a large framed photo of nuns in full habit riding bumper cars). We have never been disappointed here.

Pros: The food was good, portions huge and our server did a nice job.  
Cons: WAYYYY too loud; lots and lots of people crammed into a much too small area, and the table setup was not conducive to conversation whatsoever.  Overall, struck me as unsanitary.  You follow the server all through the restaurant when you arrive, including the kitchen (chaos, and the floor looked dirty), and there was a table set up with guests eating in the kitchen.  Dim lighting, old carpet, and much too cluttered to allow for effective cleaning. Did I mention that it was extremely loud?

I learned don't go on a Saturday night if you are in a party of 2 you do not get seated any a timely manner. The lobby was packed when we got there at 730 at 915 it was empty and we were still seating at the bar!! We should have just eaten there, it would have been quicker, and better service at least there the bartender was attentive. The food was good as always but the service was lacking, it made for a terrible Saturday night date.
