Our sons treated my wife and I to "Mothers Day" dinner. There were eight of us total.
The first thing was when the waitress brought the drinks, she spilled a large glass of ice water all over my youngest son. She apologized, and the manager came over and he done the same.
That was all they said.
The food! WOW!
When the food arrived, which was 34 minutes later, (And they weren't that busy) the pasta dish, which consisted of pasta, Alfredo sauce, chicken, broccoli, and a hint of garlic.
The food was cold, the Alfredo sauce was very runny, and not creamy at all. The chicken was huge chunks of chicken, not cut up at all. The broccoli was large clumps , and not in bite size pieces. Obviously they don't know how to use spices, because the food was very bland.
The Chicken Parmesan dish was also cold, smothered in a runny red sauce.
The last pasta dish was also cold, with very little flavor, and no seasonings.
All of this time, the waitress never came back to refill our glasses or bring more bread.
She finally came back and asked if anyone wanted dessert. We all declined. We had had enough!!!!
The waitress brought the check, with no offer of a discount for dumping the water and soaking my son. We never saw the manager again.
When we were walking out, my youngest (Soaked) son found the manager and voice his displeasure for the meal and lack of concern on his part.
The manager offered my son a $15.00 gift card, however my son declined, saying we would never be back.

OMG!! I had set no expectations but I have to say, this was a great experience. The ambiance was fantastic. Our server was even better. And the food was just plain EXCELLENT!!! If I could give more than five stars I would give them more. Visit if you can on your next visit to Naples, FL. It reminded me of visiting the North end Boston. Fantastic!!!

A good example of Italian-american style  cuisine done on a chain level. The portions are family style, so order accordingly.  Make sure to sign up for their club.. you will get a monthly coupon that is quite valuable

I had not been to a Buca di Beppo in years. The one we had near Buffalo, NY had closed. I acquired a gift card so we went to the one in Naples Fl. My partner had baked ziti. We both agreed it was very good. I had eggplant parm and it was done just the way I like it! The sauce was good and we are fussy about our sauce. Portions were generous. Prices reasonable. We took some home and had another meal. I wish there were more of them around. I like them better than other Italian chain restaurants. I would return even though it was a 30 mile drive to get there.

The food is always great here. It's just a good value considering it's family style.  I give it three stars because they over stretch the staff and it hurts the service. We literally sat for 50 minutes before we got our first drinks. The staff was friendly,  but seemed overwhelmed even though the restaurant was only half full.
