My wife and I have eaten at the Arrowhead location several times and the wait times are always extremely long. This time I went online and made reservations for me, my wife, children and grandchildren for a Thursday, a day I figured would not be as busy. I showed up 15 minutes before my reservation time and checked in and was told that they would go set up the table right at that moment. After about 45 minutes of wait time, I spoke with the hostess and she said she would check on things. Another 15 minutes goes by and we were finally taken to our table. Why make a reservation if it is still going to take an hour to get seated. There was not many guests waiting, I do not understand this. So we got to our table, a waitress (not out waitress BTW) took our drink orders that we never got until our waitress came to our table to take our order (15 minutes later), she immediately went and got our drinks, came back and took our food order. Our waitress did an incredible job, there was nothing wrong with the service from her. When the food arrived, which seemed like forever, it was mediocre at best. Usually the food quality is very good, this time the pasta was over cooked, the flavor of the sauce seemed as if it had been sitting for a while and was very bland. All I can say is that they dropped the ball this time. I hope it improves or I will need to find somewhere else to go for Italian food.

We love Buca for the Ambiance. It is pricey but remember its family style so one order for feeds many people. You can make reservations and ask for the pope room. It's a semicircle that has fancy chairs and a large round table. Fit 14 of us great. Also, u can tour the kitchen. They walk you through to see the cooks. We live the upstairs. They do have an elevator if needed. It is a casual place but the portions are large. We always share a meal or you'll be bringing some home.

Ate here today with three friends. After I picked up friends, one voiced displeasure about going for Italian so early in the day - about 11:45. I explained that we were going where we planned. (Yeah, I'm not good as placating - more take it or leave it. ) Anyway, waitress explained the whole family style ordering. After some discussion the group ordered the small gorgonzola apple salad and meatballs appetizer. One complaint about is that we got a LOT of bread. The meatballs were a bit small, but delicious and nice tasty sauce. The salad was quite good. Biggest complaint is that ordering for a small group is not that easy. Everybody has to agree on what to order and there is a limit to how many dishes you should order. Service was great! The breakfast whiner ended up enjoying lunch after all. The amount of food was good, a bit more would have been better, NO MORE BREAD. With tax and tip we spent about $11 or $12 per person. Atmosphere is like an old time basement - dark, lots of wood. . . Doesn't appeal to me, but maybe to others.

My wife and I went to the Buca di Beppo location in Arrowhead last night. Not thinking it would be busy on a Wednesday night, we were told the wait would be 50-60 minutes to get a table. Waiting inside we noticed there were lots of empty tables in view but figured it was more a staffing situation requiring the wait. It did get a bit comical in the waiting area as there were only two groups waiting to be seated, the hostess would call through a long list of people who presumably decided not to wait. It had the making of a comedy sketch. After clearing the list, we were seated in only 25 minutes. So it wasn't that bad. The food was good, not great, especially considering the cost ($60 for two people). We ordered the Chicken Marsala and a side of Portobello Mushroom Risotto. I thought the Risotto was very good but the Chicken Marsala seemed unusually sweet. It was ok, just not what I expected. Overall the experience was OK, The waitress was very polite and nice and did a great job, The food was pretty good but a bit pricey. I'd also suggest they get rid if the cheap Parmesan shaker of cheese and get some real shredded Parmesan worthy of a $60 meal.

First time coming here and definitely won't be the last. My family and I came out for my mother birthday and we had such an amazing time. Jarrett was such a phenomenal server. He reviewed the menu with us and just made us feel very welcome. He had such a vibrant personality The food was very delicious and the portions were super big too. Left there feeling extremely happy and satisfied.
