Staff do not really care for their job nor efficient customer service. When I arrived to this location to return the car, the assistance was chatting with a customer about personal stuff, nothing wrong with that unless you are waiting on line. I had to ask him to walk out to check the car conditions, gas full, etc. The man was friendly but no certain what was next? Well the system was slow and they put in a different car, so he claimed that will call them to check and close my account, long story short I had to call customer service to clarify all this and request refunds and my account for this car still showing open (quite the nightmare renting a car with Budget over the westcoast)

If you are looking for top notch service, pleasant and knowledgeable staff and excellent vehicles, than this rental car agency is the only one you need to call.

I've tried other agencies in the area but I always come back here, and you should too.

Mr. Singh is the consummate professional when it comes to renting a Budget car at this location. He always makes sure my criteria is met and that I am pleased with the car. He knows what the gas mileage will be (very important to me) as well as how much leg room there is (too small a car does not work for me). Since I frequently need a good sized trunk space, Mr. Singh finds just the right car.
I was so unhappy with the Esplanade location that I was on my way to Enterprise, when a friend told me about the 20th street Budget location.
The rep at the other place should take lessons from Mr. Singh.

We drive all the way from Oroville to get the car that we reserved. When we got there they informed us that we had to have a major credit card to rent a vehicle. There is no other option you cannot leave a large cash deposit.

The gentleman there said he told me this. I'm sure he did, since he does this every day. The problem is he has such a heavy accent and spoke so quickly I did not hear it.

I am very detailed-oriented person. When I make travel arrangement I am very careful about the details. If this had been made clear to me I, obviously would not have wasted my time driving   all the way to Chico.

I also felt extremely rushed on the phone which I'm sure contributed to this misunderstanding.
