I was charged for two days after returning the car in 24 hours. I was told if it were back by 830 am (as I picked it up earlier than expected, at 830 rather than 10) that I would be charged for one day.

Even one star they didn't deserve it. Bad attitude and rude customer representative. Be aware of Avis and Budget because they are same epresentatives.

Picked up the car from Hartford but had to change the drop off location to Tweed which added a $200 dollar fee. No dropbox for keys at airport. Rude customer support.

Convenient car rental, but be aware of airport fees. Probably won't find out until it's too late.

Absolutely terrible experience at the hands of a dishonest office. 

I returned a car to Tweed airport that I had picked up the night before in Hartford.  I called the Tweed New Haven Budget office to check that it would be ok to drop off at their location, which I was told was fine. After dropping off and handing over the rental agreement, Tina informed me that there would be a $200 charge for dropping off at a different location than picked up. That seemed outrageous, so I said never mind, I'll make the 1 hour drive and drop off in Hartford. Tina replied with an almost pleased tone that it was "too late," she had already run the check-in and there was nothing she could do. Despite my pleas for a common sense solution for one of their customers, she continued with a "whadaya want me ta do" attitude. Now ensues the fight with customer service. So, my 16 hour rental cost $340. 

Will never use Budget again (also owns Avis),
