Saved our butts when we got to town and the place i had initially booked for us MONTHS ago (Carefree Inn), was CONDEMNED! Had been for a few days, and not a word to us! Anyhow, we were able to get a room here last minute, (~12am Fri Night) for a good rate, and was just as close if not closer I believe to Cedar Point. Its worth mentioning the room doors can be a little tricky. The night guy Andrew was super friendly and enthusiastic. Close to everything, + we had to go to Walmart and that was only like a few min ride away too! Can't beat the breakfast for a motel.. I had powdered donuts, orange juice and a Belgian Waffle

If I had my way I'd give this place NO stars!! For starters my husband took our kids to the motel room while I was working. So when they first checked in there were spiderwebs in the bathroom,above the bathtub,dirty linen that was streaked with brown gunk,(hoping it wasn't poop),hair in the bathtub and on the floor, shower head was barely working,there was a crack was in the tv,bathroom mirror was dirty and streaked, no tissues in the bathroom,no privacy door thingy,and it didn't look as if either of the beds had been given fresh clean sheets or fresh clean pillow cases. When I knocked on the door,(my husband had fallen asleep) & when I asked the the motel manager to please let me into our room she was extremely rude!! She told me she was not letting me into our room(it was cold outside and I also had our small toddler outside with me),she snidely asked what the name on the room was so I told her,she said she wasn't letting me in. She said I could be lying because SHE didn't see me at the check in time!!! I had to leave with my son(ended up going to my bro's, & calling my husband),. I demanded to speak with the owner, who is of Indian decent...... NOT white and a woman!!! She lied and said she was the boss, I told her that I know for a fact that the owner is an Indian man,not her. She refused to let me speak with the owner,which I find not only appalling but also highly unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'm big on customer service as well as cleanliness.. Sadly it lacked both of those. We will not be returning if we need a room we will pay extra and go elsewhere.

We stayed three nights here to attend Cedar Point Halloweekends and it met our needs just fine. The room was spacious, the pillows and bed were very comfortable & clean. Bathroom was a little small but met our needs just fine. For the price we paid you could not beat it being so close to everything. We avoided traffic at the end of the nights as well due to being so close to Cedar Point. Staff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. Thanks Budget Host!!

A place to sleep.....not much more. Cleanliness was ok, towels abysmal, check in took 20 minutes....and I was the only one in line. Had to go back and ask them to turn on heat. No shampoo, idiots next door in 105 blasted urban music for a couple hours.
