We had a great time! The rooms were fine, nothing too fancy or unique about them, but they we're clean. The water park was a lot of fun with plenty to do to keep our 5 & 6 year old busy. The arcade was actually fun, with a family pass for $100 you get 4 cards with 75 credits each toward ticket earning games such as ice jam or wheel of Fortune. You get unlimited plays on videogames such as fast and furious, air hockey, motorcycle, batman and basketball. The unlimited lasts for three hours. For us, we used two cards for three hours and split up the kids. Then went back later for another three hours. It was more than enough time for us. I highly recommend it!

This review is for my third stay at Castaway Bay. Overall, it was a great experience. The waterpark is great fun, well maintained, well staffed and a decent value. My one minor desire is for the interior to be updated. It is quite dated and generic. The rooms aren't decorated in the theme of the lobby and main hallway.

An amazing family fun adventure. We love both taking a day adventure or staying over night when it is in this single mom's budget. It is good for little kids and kids that are ready for adventure but are not talk enough at other parks. Enjoy resting in the indoor outdoor hot tub. The walk across lillys and the roller coaster water slide are my daughter's fun adventure. She also enjoys the wave pool. When we stay the night she enjoyed the kids club upstairs where you can dance with a character and get a story read by snoopy. It is a fun activity to do when you are getting water logged and need a break. The buffet in the morning is amazing has so many yummy choices and the prices are not bad. We also enjoyed the visit from one of the Peanut' s characters. This is defiantly a fun family place. The room service is also good and not badly priced. Hope to save up to go back soon. Check out this amazing hidden gem for a day or overnight you will not be disappointed.

The only reason I’m even giving this one star is because the water park was decent. (You apparently can’t just get a day pass at certain times a year as the website implies. )The hotel on the other hand was disgusting, the beds were pitiful, and the staff was very rude. I met one helpful staff member and even she agreed that the place is junk. I ended up getting a hotel across the street and sleeping there instead. It was 4 times as nice for half the price. Biggest waste of $289 and 5 hours of drive time!

What a fun time! Love this place. Was very nice and warm in the Water Park area. The wave pool was extremely strong scary for little ones my son was 6 and he couldn't get up from the waves near what would be considered the shore. Have really nice areas to sit, a nice large fireplace that's cozy. The restaurant for breakfast was not anything great very high-priced. The waiter was super nice. However you can get a much better meal at a very nice restaurant nearby. The rooms are just okay I was actually pretty surprised that they were not nicer. My husband's company had sent the employees and family there for a nice long weekend so the meals were catered for dinner in the business room. Had nice food and always prepared something separate for children. Nice that they served the Children First. Seemed like the food that was prepared was in excess of the amount what people ate from the company.
