Room #240. Wi-Fi did not work. Bathroom floor tiles were broken up, toliet came forward off the wall when you sat on it and then slammed against the wall when you got up, bathroom door and corners of the wall frame looked chewed through. Room had a musty/moldy smell. This was only worth a $20 a night "motel"...not the $140 Hotel stay we had and paid for. We are appalled Choice Hotels puts their name on this!!! People lived in some of the rooms and loitered outside at night smoking and drinking. We did not feel safe at night.

Bed bugs, pungent odor (kinda like body odor and mold), mystery stains on the bed, kind of run down in general. The only bright spot was the staff who were actually very courteous. If you're desperate and have a tight budget, this may do, but even for the money, you can do better.

One star because zero is not an option My daughter and I spent the day at Cedar Point so I booked a room in advance so I would not have to make my 3+ hour drive home after a day at the park, but due to the conditions of the facility we drove home anyway. The lobby looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the attendant at the desk was disheveled, the chairs in the lobby were stained and disgusting. Despite this we checked in and made our way to our room. The outside of the buildings were in terrible condition and the pool looked like it had not been cleaned in forever. Once in our room it got worse: dust and what appeared to be paint flakes on the chairs, a layer of dust on all the furniture, cobwebs and debris in the shower, etc. We left immediately, as neither my daughter or I could even bring ourselves to sit on any surface, much less shower, or sleep in your bed. I understand that your price was one of the lowest available, but I would be absolutely embarrassed to present this as one of my hotels if I was Choice.

Service was fine. Room was plenty clean and the grounds in general were kept okay. Not too noisy. Roomed lacked a few amenities but nothing unusual for a motel. I wouldn't want to spend a day there but for a night's sleep it was perfect.
