Easy check in with a friendly face. Slept well, clean and cute rooms. Nice little breakfast to get us down the road in the morning. I was a little concerned when I had seen the motel across the street, it looked a little ruff as did the people hanging out in the parking lot but never had a problem. Over all for under one hundred dollars can't beat it.

This was a great stay for us! Management very accommodating...room was clean, spacious...nice hardwiod flooring, decent beds and nicely tiled bathrooms! It was a genuinely clean room, not a perfumed/air freshener room. This is a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for me because I am allergic to that stuff and can hardly every find a motel that doesn't use them! Thank you Budget Inn for not using them! You will have a healthier staff as well! I will be back! Great breakfast... with a cool pancake machine! Only suggestion is to fix bathroom fan that sounded a bit labored. 😊

If you're falling asleep at the wheel then the budget Inn is a good choice for a low low low price. You won't find any coffee facilities in room and I kind of get that. Cheerful staff despite the late arrival and simple dealings appreciated

We picked this hotel based on price and expected a clean room with a comfortable bed which we got. I gave them a 1-star rating because I found that the smoke detector in my room had been disabled by the hotel. It would have been a reason for me to stay elsewhere if I had noticed when I first checked in but I didn't notice it till later. In the lobby I noticed the smoke detector had also been removed. I spoke to the front desk person, who confirmed they removed the one in the lobby and claimed not to know about the one in my room. I believe there is a good reason why fire codes and building codes require these by law. I was not happy to stay in a place that feels they don't need to follow the law. P.S. I also noticed that the security chain on the room door had been removed. FYI. This is the first hotel we stayed at that charges for room ice.

For the price, it's a great place. The owner takes pride in what he offers for the price and it shows. I loved the continental breakfast. I loved that there are a few rooms with 3 queen beds. This works well for our family. We usually just need a simple place to stay while passing through Barstow.
