Needed a box truck to make an emergency move out of a bad situation and I could not get a hold of anyone at the facility. The phone just kept ringing and ringing with no voicemail and it was the only number available to contact. Would not recommend.

I felt swindled by these guys. My initial experience was fine and when I asked the worker how much he estimated it would cost me he said less than $30 but I ended up getting charged $110 and when I called he seemed annoyed and read off a list of charges I was never aware of. Really shady.

Avoid this location!  We reserved a drive-away truck from Santa Rosa to Washington State.  This Budget dealership is disorganized (all the keys to all their trucks were heaped in a basket) and customers seem to be considered an annoyance at best.  The truck they showed us had two exposed repair holes through the tread and a piece of metal in one front tire. Their mechanic pulled out the metal and said if we got a flat tire then we could call Budget, which would send out a repair truck.  Since we were leaving on a 900 mile trip with a full load, that was obviously not acceptable, so they offered us another truck, which had other issues: 127,000 hard miles, a cracked windshield, no gas cap, and the tank was down nearly 1/8 tank.  The owner rushed us through the damage identification form and did not properly record the cracked windshield, so we were hassled about this in Seattle when we dropped off the truck. The owner was grumpy and said that he was selling the business. Let's hope he is successful, as this particular franchise does not live up to Budget's normal standards.  Go to Budget on Santa Rosa Avenue, they are nicer, better organized, and have better trucks.

We made an advanced reservation for a truck - weeks in advance, and when we came to pick up the truck they didn't have one for us. We were able to find another truck with the guys on Santa Rosa Ave, but a month later when we get our credit card bill there is a $50 charge from them because we didn't cancel our reservation! Luckily we caught the charge and had it reversed... but we don't always look over the bills that closely!

Stay away from Budget... at least at this location!
