I went here to find a M6 x 15mm screw. Since I didn't know what I was looking for exactly, so I went to the help desk. I waited at the help desk for about 15 minutes until someone finally came. He pointed me to the right isle. Hoping for someone to come and actually help me find the right screw easily, I was a little confused. As I expected, I couldn't find the correct screw so I went back. After another 10 minutes of waiting, the help person said he didn't know where to find what I was looking for. I went back one last time before I left, and, luckily, someone walked by. I asked if he knew what I was looking for, and he immediately pointed me to the exact screw I needed. I think that with the slogan of "The Helpful Place", Ace should really be a helpful place.

Sue is the best!! Called to see if they've got cardboard boxes for moving, she sounded like she was smiling the whole time she was describing their selection. I always go there for fasteners and odds and ends, but never left a review! Love the neighborhood feel to it too. Kinda miss th monkey though 😉

Impressed with the knowledgable staff and helpfulness, which is very helpful for someone who's pretty clueless in a hardware store. Good selection and variety, too.

Tried to return something I purchased at another ACE and they refused to help.  They stressed that they are independently owned.  Save yourself the hassle and go to a Home Depot, Lowes or Mendards where they are willing to return stuff you purchased at a different store. Boycott in effect.
