An Altadena gem. Homemade gelato, perfectly representing the owner's Italian heritage. It's an amazing find that we've been coming back to for many years. You won't be disappointed. Custom dinners also available on appointment. Amazing!

Were surprised at how small a Shop this was and even though our gelato was yummy, the prices for a tiny cup seemed high for what amount was given. Nice for a weekend outing, but after driving over 100 miles to visit this Shop, we were not impressed. The service was nice. Just the actual Shop was not what we expected.

No Stars at all (the system forces a minimum) I had a so Called friend recommend this place about 5 years ago; didn't like it then and returned today to show another friend the difference between this place AND REAL Gelato in Pasadena: Congelato!!Needless to say I DID NOT ORDER or TASTE TEST! In terms of location Bulgarini is in The Dumps! Not ideal location. Flavors duplicated and the presentation is Flat. Shop so uninviting, and the Gelato only because it's Gelato is just ok! Maybe good, definitely NOT GREAT like Congelato in Pasadena on Colorado and Oak Knoll! A small at Bulgarini $7.00 2 scoop Flavor limit! At Congelato a small is $4.50 with NO FLAVOR limit! That's right all you can fit in the cup! Med. $5.50 and Large $6.50 at Congelato, I was too afraid to ask other cup sizes at Bulgarini if the "small" started at $7.00. Trust me, I don't have a Horse in the Race, go where you want, for my Time, Money and ambiance it's Congelato hands down! So sorry Bulgarini your tenure of 12 years still hasn't won my money! Either Congelato or Dolce in Laguna Beach for me! Both those get "10" Stars out of Five! Bulgarini doesn't even Rate.
