The food is good but not outstanding in any way. Their staff is nice and the surroundings are good. It's loud inside and outside. In general I think this place is the success of style and attitude over delivering on just genuinely good food. Definitely do not get anything with truffle oil. It's horrendous. Their diet soda is to die for. In the end, if you feel the need to to blow twenty bucks on a burger and tots (their fries are way below average), maybe consider another place. That's my recommendation.

Food was great and the decor and ambiance were nice too. It's located in Downtown Escondido, so a great area to walk around. They have great beer selections and my kids love their black cherry soda! Great addition to Escondido!!

I'd actually give three and 1/2 stars. Nice place. Food was pretty good. Small portions for the money though. Friendly staff and all the craft beers known to man but no Budweiser. lol For the price, I think the burgers should be a lot bigger.

Amazing burgers (and tots and wings, etc.), Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Often tough to find a seat! Good problem to have for a restaurant. Good beers on tap always and though the bar is a little small you can totally watch a game or something here. Dog friendly outdoor seating a huge plus! They source locally and the high quality of doing so is strongly reflected in the food.

Are you hungry for a Patty melt? Then go here. Burger Bench bis so delicious that I have invented reasons to drive nearly an hour from my home. And their shakes? OMG! Delicious!! They also offer tots which are heavenly. Love it and can't wait to go back!!
