Park like this officer for mad props! None of the 15 open spots could fit his massive ego obviously. To the 3 strangers who disparaged BPD while I snapped these photos: have some respect, getting a burrito is obviously urgent police business. Please respond with other reputation boosting tips! This officer obviously didn't take his assigned short bus to work. Christmas Eve if BPD actually wanted to look the the plates and follow up and award this guy for exemplary behavior.

These guys are dirty. A few tips for people living in Vermont: 1) If your wife has a nervous breakdown and these guys come to your house, make sure you don't skip the merits hearing. If you skip the merits hearing, the police will smirk at you at the end of the hearing. The reason? Because they lie in their reports. Make sure your attorney reviews the police's body videos before the hearing. As an aside, your Attorney General's Office is also dirty. I offered them the police videos after the hearing, and they obstructed justice by refusing to review them. Tip #2: If you're going to complain about the Burlington Police, lock your door! We complained about the Burlington Police and didn't lock our door. Our house mysteriously got broken into and sprayed with some sort of industrial/agricultural solution that causes severe skin irritation. Tip #3: If you are going to leave your apartment, and go to a hotel, be careful the hotel is not in Burlington. This is because the police will harass you by making the motel throw you out and the hotel will steal your money. Tip #4: Don't give the court your address once you leave Vermont. If you do give them your address, and four days later you get a mysterious email from the White House thanking you for emailing them (when you haven't emailed them), the Burlington Police likely got a hold of your address from the court and is trying to get you in trouble in order to cover up their human trafficking schemes. And yes, the Burlington Police, along with DCF Burlington, and the Vermont Attorney General's Office are almost certainly involved in a human trafficking scheme. This may explain why a) the Burlington Police write false reports about people, b) DCF Burlington writes blatantly false reports about people, c) The Attorney General's Office refuses to review police videos and other video evidence showing unequivocal criminal wrongdoing by the police and DCF, d) why the state rewrote their law providing for kin to have priority in adopting their relatives, e) why Vermont has the 5th highest DCF rate in the country, f) why the Civil Rights Department in Vermont forwards DCF complaints to the Attorney General's Office, and g) why public legal services won't take DCF case civil rights problems. The Burlington Police Department is crooked, and has already been caught framing innocent people, and colluding with the housing inspection department to retaliate against another individual. Be warned. Vermont is a lawless jungle. Don't move there; and if you are already there, get out, or lock your doors. Who needs criminals when you have the Burlington Police Department around?

With the new Police Chief Brandon del Pozo I have noticed things getting a lot more attention. Such as North Street is not so much the armpit of Burlington as it always was. Downtown doesn't seem to have panhandlers in every business's doorway. Thank you for a sometime thankless job.

My wife was the victim of a random assault on Tuesday March 7 , 2017 . After she was struck with a heavy stake in the head , I tackled and pinned the attacker until the police arrived . We called 911 . The police response was very quick. They arrived in less than 5 minutes . They immediately secured the attacker , simultaneously attended to my wife until the EMT's arrived , ensured that I was OK, and that the surrounding crime scene was safe and secure . We are very thankful to the officers of BPD for being there . They were prompt in their response , professional in the manner the dealt with the assault. Also , the empathy demonstrated to both my wife and I was greatly appreciated. We don't expect this type was random crime in Burlington. However , we are grateful that we have such an outstanding Police department to serve and protect when it does occur . Thank you
