6/2024 5* Food was awesome. Menu was hard to read as it was all in small type. We all loved the food though. I will be back for sure! Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegan dishes. Parking: We had to park on the street. Not sure if there is a lot in the back maybe. Kid-friendliness: It is not a bad place. Just nothing for the kids to do or look at really
I told myself I wasn’t going to leave any bad reviews. But after standing in line by myself for 10 mins for my online order which was already ready, I was a little annoyed. When I got my food I was completely annoyed. The tacos, salsa, and service are all whack. I guess they get away with it since most their clientele is drunk. So, if you’re sober, go somewhere else
Honestly was not expecting much, but man this place is good. The service was incredible, anything you needed they had, and it was very clean. Stop by and give this place a shot, I guarantee you’ll be satisfied!Food: 5/5
It was ok, portion size was big and I got two meals out of it. Cost me 13 for the king steak burrito plate, the beans are a bit small and wasn't seasoned enough for my taste at least, the beef was a bit on the tough size but wasnt bad. Overall I was satisfied. The two sauces were also small but sadly it seems to be the trend nowadays, everyone is struggling to make a profit due to the higher cost.
Update March 2023: Lunch special is back. Update June 2022: They no longer have the lunch special. Wow! I went here for lunch and the taco I had was excellent. I was very happy to see they had shredded beef. Both many places have shredded beef, it was great. The beef was tender and juicy. The flavor was on point. The toppings were fresh. I was also given two different sauces. Both the green and red were great. I noticed after ordering that they have Jamaica, I'll have to try it next time. And, there will be a next time as I want to try the other offerings. There are about 6 tables inside, with room for more. The people were very friendly and helpful. Again, I will be returning! Bicycling: Milwaukee has a bike lane so it makes it easy to get here. There's a bike rack out front. The only thing that would be an improvement is if they had outdoor seating. Also, it is also a quarter of a mile from the North Branch Trail.
Literally even the chips and guac were the best things I’ve put in my mouth since idk when; the al pastor is to die for! Everything was perfect, easy and quick pick up, ordered via DoorDash. Highly recommend!
I tried Tortas for the first time from here which I found out is a Mexican style toasted sandwich or similar to a panini, and I was happy with my choice. I had the Torta de Milanesa con aguacate which is the breaded steak with avocado and I would recommend it. My bf said they had the best tripitas tacos that he has had in Chicago. The decried beans are really good and creamy texture too. I would definitely recommend trying it here they have lots of options!
Great customer service. The owner is really nice and cute. The food tasted fresh. The Al Pastor Taco was very tasty. Those are usually a hit or miss. The tortillas were soft and flaky not like other locations where they're hard, chewy, and dry. This place has great prices for the quality. Definitely a go-to especially for those late night bites on the north side.
