Worst mechanic experience I have come across! New engine, $3200...supposedly under warranty.  Burning tons of oil...took a month and a half to get me in for an appointment.  3 days in a rental car... $150. Then charged me labor at $450!!!! Because labor is not covered in the warranty?!?! Got truck home...still burning tons of oil!!!!! Will not take my truck back to them. Paying $1000 to get it done right this time by someone that knows what they are doing!! BE WARNED!! Read the reviews before taking your vehicle somewhere and getting scammed!

I've been recommended to C&A twice now for different vehicle issues and each time they have helped me to my satisfaction. No complaints so I'm not sure why all the previous bad reviews!

The guy Lonnie is a jerk and doesn't seem to know what he's talking about, would not recommend his services.

I took my grand am in for diagnostic because the engine was revving up very high while driving and I had found this cable in the engine compartment that seemed to change that sound.  He opened the hood and i showed him the cable that wasnt attached to anything at one end and went down to something by my fender.  I said i think it goes here but it comes off.

He just pulled it out of my hand and pushed it down and said no it doesnt do anything.  He said he would need time to go over it to drop it off in a couple weeks.  I went about my business and about a week later while  in boise, it got worse and worse, i went to the mechanic i used to use when i lived there, and he said, omg, thats the cable to your transmission, yes its extremely important.

He didnt have a cable. So he tried to fix the end in that went to the transmission.  It was all frayed.  He said it wouldnt last long but long enough to get me to the transmission shop.  He called them and asked the guy there to wait for me, as it was almost closing.

Well, because i had been driving like that too long, i needed the transmission overhauled.  I had been driving back and forth every day for about .  

Dont trust the owner of C and A, hes the one that said the cable didnt do anything!  Why would he say that?  Was he waiting for it to break completely and then get the business of overhauling my transmission?  who knows.

BAD SERVICE! I tried to return a Uhaul here. We got the Uhaul half full and they wouldn't take it unless it was filled all the way. We had the paper work showing we didn't get it with a full tank. Ended up returning the Uhaul at another location because he called Uhaul to complain about us. Had no problems when we returned it at a differ location with a full tank.
