Check your receipt before you leave...the $1.25 per shirt special is a shady rip off. The first time (about a month ago) I took in 4 shirts for to be laundered, when I picked them up,  they had charged me 1.25 for 3 shirts, and then 2.99 for one shirt stating it had to be dry cleaned due to a wine stain...? I don't drink red wine so not sure what that was all about,  the gal at the front apologized and said something should have been said when I dropped them off..okay fine,  maybe there was something on it that I didn't notice when I dropped it off so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid the extra money...I went back last week and dropped off 4 more shirts, this time I gave the shirts a good look before I left, nothing noticeable on any of the shirts, I just wanted them laundered with light starch.I told her if there were any extra charges to please call me. I came back to pick them up today, and once again, 3 shirts were charged at 1.25 and one shirt was upped to 2.99 stating the EXACT same thing, "Dry Clean - Red Wine" .  I immediately protested the up charge telling her that there was NO red wine on anything I had brought in and then I told her I was going to call the number on the door that says "if this business is ever closed during business hours please call..." She (the same gal from the previous time I was there) went to the computer and said let me check, after about 5 minutes of doing something, she apologized and charged me the correct price, she said something weird like, "oh, the material on this one shirt might have confused the system...whatever that means. Then she told me when I come back (not gonna happen) to just remind her about this...not sure that point of that would be. There are a bunch of signs around the place advertising 1.25 shirt cleaning, clearly to get you in the door, to me it seems they make up the cost by nonchalantly upping one of your items to a 3.00 dry clean charge for a wine stain that never existed, that's a scam to me and I will take my business elsewhere.
