The food here is very good at this enjoyable French bistro regardless of the time of day, but I find myself here more for brunch than I do for dinner. There's usually a wait in the summer since it's so close to Pike Place, but it's very much worth it. Especially if you can get a spot outside. For dinner, the duck confit is very good, as is the steak. The escargot is an excellent, buttery starter. I've always enjoyed whatever I end up getting here.

We walked in for some brunch and were sat down by the minute. Beautiful, cozy and friendly staff. French inspired food and really close to Pike Market. Cute little place to check out for a nice meal with friends.

The bouillabaisse was great with lots of chunky fish, fennel, and potatoes. The broth reminded me of La Rochelle, France when I was there. The cassoulet my friend had was good as well. However the steak frites was a bit tough for me but my friend liked it nevertheless. The chocolate mousse was good and the service was great. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. This is definitely the place for traditional French food.

The food is here is not bad but beware that if you bare thinking about celebrating a birthday here and want to bring a birthday cake, just be warned that they charge a hefty plating fee of $6 per person. The food here did not justify the cost of this as there are other places around with better food. But if you are looking for an intimate place for a nice French dinner this would be a good option.
