Read this closely. EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Do not waste your time at Cafe Express. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The breakfasts are now simply AWFUL.

I have eaten in this place regularly since it opened because of location and convenience and it was once fairly decent. NO LONGER. I would routinely roll in for a Southwest Scramble or American Classic Platter. The last three or four times the scrambled eggs were icy cold on arrival. No, I don't mean lukewarm or not quite hot enough. They were just a few degrees above freezing...about like biting into an ice cube. Each time I sent the food back and they would re-do it, but never an explanation or anything. It was like they had kept them in the deep freeze overnight and pulled them out a minute earlier to put on my plate.

Today I go in about 9:30 a.m. and upon receiving the order, it's frozen solid again. It isn't like they were extremely busy....I was the only customer in the restaurant. All others tables were vacant. So they re-do it and the manager brings it out and said he cooked it himself. This time it is merely lukewarm and the eggs are runny and soggy, so clearly it isn't cooked properly. He never even bothered to stick around to see if I was satisfied with the replacement plate. I wasn't...so I just got up and walked out. 

Apparently, whoever runs this facility was never trained in the concept of proper food preparation because raw, cold, uncooked food is a major health hazard and they make it clear that they don't care when you take them to task for it. 

This chain advertises how "fresh" their food is. Don't you believe it. This may explain why the La Madeleine Restaurant next door is always jammed with customers and Cafe Express is empty. Go elsewhere my friends. You will thank me later.  I tried several times to give them extra chances and no more. Bad management and pathetic food preparation equals wasted money and potential food poisoning.

The food here is pretty tasty! The exotic drink station is a little bit of a let down, but the eats are very delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.

The staff at this location are really nice. The place is huge and wasn't that busy during the week day. 

There are many things that make this a great place like:
- HUGE patio
- unique soda, tea, and coffee
- great menu and selection
- wifi

I really enjoy the healthy food options.  Good service.  Good location.

I was there for lunch and even though it was busy the service was polite. It did take approximately 20 minutes to get my food but that is to be expected at noon. Very nice place.
