I loved it, I'd almost give it a 5, if there were a bigger portions (then again I did manage to get full) and less of a crowd. Great service also. It all was delicious, with gluten free bread (for an extra charge). The thing with lox was what I had, and heard their lime shrimp salad was good also.  The sweet potato fries were savory and I really want to try their potatoes based on how they looked

Good food in general with fusion of French and American food. I love their mussels and fries. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at specific hours. The service is okay overall, friendly but not always on par: waiting for waiters to wait on you... 

There's a waiting line on the weekends but you can also get pastries and coffee to go if you go on the Santa Clara Ave side. Friday and Saturday evenings they have fantastic jazz players!

Delicious breakfast (especially the waffles), friendly service. Great wait staff. Pleasant environment. The outside seating is always enjoyable on a warm, sunny morning

Breakfast done very nicely here in Alameda.  Owner gave us a card for a FREE half order of their mouth-watering beignets so we decided to take advantage of this generous offer and try it out.  I was pleasantly pleased with our two omelette orders that came with country-herbed potatoes and toast.  The large mug of coffee was also a welcoming treat.  Reasonable prices will get me to return again to this quiant neighborhood eatery!
