My boyfriend and I decided to try something different (normally go to local coney island) and come here Sunday morning and I'm glad we did. We came in around 9:30am and there were only a few other people there. First, the way they take your order is what I've been waiting for my entire diner-eating life. They ask if you want your omelette flat or fluffy, they offer tomato slices in place of hashbrowns (which were fresh and delicious) and asked both what type of toast and if you wanted them to butter it or not. I decided to try one of their several interesting specials, wild mushroom omelette made with egg whites. It was delicious. It had several different kinds of mushrooms and the type of cheese they used (can't remember the name) was a creamy, flavorful white cheese that have it a deep, savory flavor and complimented the mushrooms. As a bonus it came out in less than five minutes and both the kitchen staff and our waitress were very kind. I'm excited to go back and try another special!

Hidden Gem, not the easiest place to find around back. Creative breakfast specials and prompt service. The friendly chef greated us on arrival and checked in before we finished.
