The food is always good at Cafe Rio. They’ve really streamlined it so that the actual food always comes out great. Unfortunately this particular restaurant has big problems. On my visit, the “assembly” line was incredibly disorganized and inefficient. I’m patient and it didn’t bother me except that it makes me wonder about other things going on when this happens. The checkout girl was unpleasant, but everyone else was nice, though bad at their jobs. The sauces were put in so sloppy I noticed them splashing into other sauces making a gross mix-mess. The place was FILTHY. Urine on the bathroom floor, fly traps in the men’s room, food all over the dining room, and food left on neighboring tables like sloppy mess that nobody cleaned up for duration of our meal— over 30 minutes. The garbage cans were totally full and I even saw fellow customers push and compress the garbage to fit more in. Cafe Rio is great food, but this location is a disaster.

There was a lot going on when I stopped by, quite a long line but they moved through it quickly. The food was good and I enjoyed what I ordered. My biggest complaint is the high chairs seemed like they had not been cleaned and I ended up cleaning it myself.

Great food and good value. However, they do not get the "cleanliness" concept; grimy tables, sour serving trays, floors a mess sometimes. Serving methods are questionable. Seems they need a little training. That said - I've never been dissatisfied with the food. It's good stuff.

I called in my order at 8:43. I was told the price and to come at 9:15. I arrived to a chaotic place. Teenagers were all over the place. They hadn't even acknowledged the customer who was already standing there. I asked him if he'd been helped. They heard and yelled over to come to the checkout for those standing in line. The guy in front of me (phone orders pick up) paid, but they hadn't even put his order together. Then they helped a standing in line customer...then me...but when I gave them my name to my call in order, they had no record of it. They asked me if I had it under another name. They took my phone number. Nothing! This is the second time this has happened at the Spanish Fork location. I will NEVER go to this location again. EVER! (but I doubt they will care)

Oscar is the best he runs this cafe rio. we come to the Spanish fork location all the time it's super slow and they often get our order wrong. But when Oscar's working this place is awesome, if I could get him promoted I would.
