When I was just a wee lad, my family happened upon a desert tortoise hobbling around our backyard. We took this tortoise in and gave him plenty of nice, ripe cherry tomatoes and of course, a turtles favorite, lettuce. Eating at Cafe Rio really helped me identify as said tortoise because of how much goddamn lettuce there was on my plate. I'm a man who enjoys a nice bout of lettuce in my burritos but it was just flung on the side as an afterthought. Hot sauce selection was 10/10.

The sweet pulled pork is to die for. I usually get the nachos with the sweet pulled pork and it never ceases to amaze me. It's on the appetizers menu but it's probably the best meal the serve.

The fresh homemade tortillas make every plate delicious! Their meat is high quality too. We love this place!

If you know this chain it is a good representative, if you don't this is in my opinion the best casual Mexican chain around albeit more pricey than many. Fresh tortillas are delicious as is most meat served on them. Plenty of gluten free options for my wife, and free kids quesadillas for dine in. My favorite is Barbacoa, but it is very sweet, perhaps too much so for some.
