Extremely rude service staff. Burger was overpriced and salty...gross and inedible. One bite had me gagging and I was done. Of course, had my ridiculous 45-year-old Hipster Jerk of a server in a comedic pork pie hat hadn't been so incredibly snarky to me while I placed my order, and then probably did something unthinkable to my food when I called him on it (I suspected he did. I wouldn't put it past him) this place STILL would've been overpriced and pretentious. Give me a break - it's ground beef, people. A burger. And gross at that. I'll never go there again. And that server should find a different gig because he's not right with people.

I am disappointed with this Umami location. They didn't have the Impossible Burger, which is by far the best veggie burger available. They did have a Falafel Burger, which was also a tasty veggie option, but not what we were craving. Service prompt, but generally aloof. There just seems to be something lacking here, which is too bad. It's a large space with lots of tables, good for groups, and they have beer, wine, and some cocktails.

This place has a great vibe. Open, airy space with a great outdoor seating area and a fire pit in one of the two bar spaces. The staff is great - attentive, interactive, friendly, willing to make recommendations, and they do that neat trick where they remember an entire table's orders while by the time the one other person in my party has ordered, I've forgotten what I'm getting. The bar seems to have a decent selection of cocktails, though I didn't sample any. They have an OK beer spread on tap, I would like to have seen more but they represent the various standard beer tastes well, but a pint is pricey at $8. The burger - with a name like this (and the prices for a 6oz patty), I was expecting life altering flavors. What I got on my plate was...average. I ordered the original umami burger with truffle fries. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing particularly wrong with the burger, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will happily return for more, it just didn't wow. I was actually more impressed with the fries, which were a skinny crispy ooeygooey cheesy affair bursting with truffle flavor and not skimping on portions. I finished with the dessert our server recommended, which was a deep fried oatmeal cookie topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle...every bit as decadent as it sounds and worth every single calorie laden dollar. The dessert alone will get me back in the door, but overall it's a great dining experience, just a little costlier than I would like for the size and lack of wow-factor of the burgers.

Their food quality and service keep going downward! I will never ever go back there again for two main reasons: The food quality and taste suck while it is quite expensive too! Secondly, the staff are super rude with zero respect and poor service! I would not recommend this place AT ALL! I wish I could give it a negative star as it is quite a broken restaurant!
