After eating many meals at the original Charlie's cafe (Googleplex), decided to give Charlie's own venture a try. We went there for breakfast. The place is located in the nice Town and Country Village in Palo Alto near Stanford. Parking was easy. No rush since it was breakfast, was seated immediately. The ambience was casual and comfy yet chic and trendy. The service was very good. The breakfast was excellent - we ordered regular breakfasts and omelettes but we could tell the difference, we could taste the freshness and flavors were popping. It was not cheap, but worth it. Will try lunch and dinner sometime.

Great healthy organic food. Friendly service. Reasonable prices compared to the quality. And Charly is a great cook. ☺️

The food here is excellent, although not always what you expect - I ordered a salad and it came deconstructed on a wooden platform. Really yummy, but not quite what was in my head. The quality is terrific, and the food combinations are wonderful. The prices are high for a cafe, but not outrageous when you consider the quality. I will note that there is a huge vegetarian selection, more than half of which is also gluten-free. Very kid friendly, nice and easy.

Good sevice but not as good food. Went there for lunch and was rather disappointing, was expecting a bit more for this price. The burgers were dull but the meat it self was good. I had the garlic fries and they were way to greasy and some of them were completely wet, there was way to much spice on them as well (I only managed to eat like 1/5 of them).

The quality of the food, very attentive service, and inviting atmosphere keep me coming back. I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every visit to Calafia. I'm looking forward to my next! Beef Two Ways and Double Pork happiness were amazing. (nightly specials, why you won't see those two on the daily menu)
