If you live close by and need a destination to walk your dog or little one, then this is quite a good destination. It has open spaces and playground equipment. It has a BBQ equipment if you are into that sort of thing and want to entertain a large group with minimal cost. A school is adjacent to the park and there often is someone selling fruits on Lean Ave. On the downside, there are no restrooms, which are expensive to maintain, but limit the park as a picnic destination to just those that live nearby. Cars often speed down Lean Ave. and sometimes pay little attention to the stop signs. Sad. So keep your dog leashed (it's the law) and a firm grip on your little one when near Lean Ave. A special note is the walk to the park over the overpass. It is lined with beautiful orange and red roses. Quite a treat.

A spacious park to spend time with the fam. We go here every Sunday to play volleyball. The park has slides and swings for little children and benches and tables for a weekend afternoon picnic.
