My 4 year old daughter enjoyed this area almost as much as I did as a kid when it was Frontier Village. We had a really good hour here today. Climbing, swinging, running, chasing and being chased. Thank you to the 2 older girls who took the time to help teach my daughter the finer points of going up and down both rock structures safely. We both enjoyed seeing a turkey vulture ( I think) hunting game in the open field as she swung. What a wonderful place to take a break from the commute back home. Thank you San Jose for keeping this treasure around.

Wonderful park, but parking can be difficult as the parking lot is part of a gated off area that doesn't seem to actually be a part of the park itself.

This has a nice paved trails, less than a mile around with lots of shade to comfortably walk, bike, or anything during anytime of the day. It has a great place for kids to play, with swings and climbing things. There are some picnic tables with BBQ pits that are popular on the weekends. The park includes bathrooms. They have tennis courts and a basketball court. They also have a sandy area for volleyball or badminton. In addition one of my favorite features are the little mountain bike trails to go up and down. This place used to be an an amusement park called Frontier Village and they have a reunion picnic every year still! :-)

Does park has a lot of trees and it has a nice playground and atmosphere. Not too crowded and dog friendly. Beautiful view of the Hayes Mansion

Very nice place to play sand volley ball, picnic, tennis (3 courts) and lot of kids items like rock climbing. Also you can bike around or go for a long walk. Must visit if you stay nearby this place.
