Food was tasty but the service was super slow and unorganized. People who came after us were served first the same orders that we placed. Hostess forgot many of our orders. A manager had to interfere and get things right. But I still rate this place 4 stars since the manager was a great lady who set things right and acknowledged the issue and got us the food quickly and also everything else was perfect.

Food was good.The hickory chicken was nice and well done. 

Ambience was nice and the tables near the fireplace were warm and that would have been a awesome location to be seated.

Great place for a romantic night if the seating is near the fireplace.

Expect long wait times but the food makes it up.

Had lunch here today. Atmosphere was down home friendly. I ordered the smoked chicken and wife ordered the trio (pulled pork, ribs and chicken tenders). Everything was delicious. House salad was very fresh and had an ample amount of toppings.
     Service was best we had in town. Tonya was knowledgeable of the menu, took care of every need and even suggested my menu.
     Calhoun's will be on our must do list next time in town. Prices were very reasonable for what we ordered.

Luis is my favorite bartender in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!! They're always very friendly here, the service is quick and pleasant, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommended. If you sit at the bar and have the great fortune to meet Luis tell him his favorite married couple that work and play in the area say "HI!"

We came to eat a dinner early, 4:30. There were all kinds of empty tables but the hostess made us wait 15 minutes. 
Once we were seated, our server was amazing, the food was good, and turned my thought around. 
you can have all the bread you want.

A family member recommended that we try this local chain and we were certainly glad we did. The ribs were pretty good and their mac n cheese and corn pudding was delightful. Most BBQ places I go typically get down the BBQ recipes, but their sides many times fall short - just aren't good. Like eating veggies straight from the can.
The service was very good and their fresh strawberry and pink lemonades were even better! We enjoyed their fried green tomatoes appetizer and the bread basket had I think 4 different types of bread, all very good.
