Always have a great meal; great service; and a quiet, private booth as we requested... It was our anniversary and they even had a card wishing us happy anniversary signed by all the staff there as well as writing Happy Anniversary in chocolate on our dessert plate! We've been celebrating here 3 years and plan to continue (as evidenced by the congratulations dessert plate after we were married)! Great romantic dinner!!!

- This is an expensive place. The menu we saw was somewhat misleading in this aspect, as it looked like there were some dishes for under $10, but that isn't the case - Certainly an experience more than a meal, the fondue is made right in front of you, which is pretty cool - Very quiet and romantic atmosphere. Much more a couples restaurant experience than a bring the kids place. They certainly accommodate them, we brought ours with no problem, but the experience seems to be geared more toward a romantic dinner than a fun with the family direction.

In life there is good and bad. I’m here to be 100% honest about both and give you the most detailed and truthful view I’m able to. First the good. Our server was patient and helpful as we had a party of 10, three being smaller kids. He made sure all of us understood our options etc., before we ordered and during the meal. He was an excellent waiter! Two of the boys in our party were celebrating birthdays, so he brought them out a beautiful plate with candles. He was very attentive and considerate. The dessert was the best part of our meal. We all agreed we would return for dessert, however I’m rating this experience overall as our entire party, minus 1, ordered the 4 course meals. The salads were great! The loaded baked potato cheese fondue was the best! Now the bad. Portions were small, especially if you share a four course entree. You need to have some money set aside to eat here, because it’s steep and everyone should get their own meat plate or you will be hungry later. So be prepared to drop between $50 and $80 to actually eat. The meat isn’t precooked, you have to boil it at your table. That’s all meat, shrimp, chicken, steak etc., you cook your food. You can opt to fry it in an oil they have and they will batter dip your meats, but with kids, we were afraid of the hot oil. You receive veggies and apples with your bread and cheese service. Be careful, cause if you’re sharing, again, you’re not going to have enough food. You get tiny, finger sized portions of all veg and apples. The carrot pieces are halved from baby carrots, so you don’t have a lot. The boiled meat just didn’t taste great. The broth has a strange aroma. We just simply didn’t care for it. The whole service took 2 hours, so be ready to sit. Smaller kids will tire of all the cleaning up and replacing pots and dishes for each service. In my personal and humble, honest opinion, just get a double broiler and melt some cheese at home. Save yourself almost $100 for a party of two and go somewhere they cook your meat.

Coming from a middle class working family, this is not a place I would normally consider dining at, but after the first time my wife and I ate at the location in Madison, we were hooked. We have now been to five or six different locations and numourous times at a couple of those locations. The menus slightly carry from place to place, but the food has always been exceptional no matter where. Also, if you are into dessert drinks, the you and yang is simply amazing. At 15 dollars a drink, you may not want to pick it as a drink to try and get sauced up on, but the taste is amazing! Do your taste buds a favor and order this drink.

It's a little strange on how you prepare your own food but the waitress showed us how it all worked and helped us pick our order. The food was great and the portion sizes were huge so we had plenty of left overs. Save room for the desert, the chocolate is amazing.
