Camp Sandusky has offered great camping experiences for visitors to Sandusky, Ohio and Cedar Point for over 20 years. Just 6 miles to Cedar Point. Going to Cedar Point? Stay in an Amish cabin and relax around a campfire after your busy day. Bring your RV or tent and enjoy our level shady sites.

We have recently increased the size of some of our sites. We have also added air-conditioning to four of our pet-friendly cabins. We will also be having more planned activities including outings to local attractions.

My husband and I stayed in the air conditioned, pet friendly cabin with our dog the last weekend of June. Overall, the property was neat, the other guests were respectful, the staff was nice, the location was close to the theme park, and the cabin and amenities were adequate for the price.  The cabin had wooden beds (a bunk bed and a queen bed), a wooden bench, an air conditioning unit, a small refrigerator, and a fire pit and picnic table outside. We also used the BBQ unit that we shared with the cabin next to us. We did not have bug or spider problems like some of the other reviews mentioned, nor did we hear traffic sounds despite the proximity of the  freeway. I was worried that other guests would keep us up, but everyone quieted down when the sun set. Our dog plays with guinea pigs, so we let him say hello to the bunnies from outside their pen. He loved that. We didn't try the pancake breakfast. We did bring our own coffee maker and snacks. I would recommend bringing flip flops for the shower. I was happy with our stay and we may go back and stay at Camp Sandusky again on our next trip to Cedar Point.

Just a camp ground. Usable bath house. Looks like all sites have a grill, fire ring and picnic table. But the sites are not OBVIOUSLY marked. Especially if it's dark. I paid for an oversized site to add a tent with the RV. Once I started setting up the tent, management came by and said I owed extra for it. Very close to the highway/road so you hear the noise. We probably won't be back.

Camp Sandusky Has Become A Second Home for My Family...For Eleven Years This has Become a Place that Brings Joy and Peace To Our Souls. The Staff is over-the-top ACCOMIDATING, and The Memories we Create With Each Visit is enough to Hold Us Til The Next Time We Arrive..From Family Friendly Activities to just a Quiet Getaway, It is PERFECT!!!

Nice campground with cute cabins. Wish there were more bathrooms. Overall, a great place to stay.

Reasonably priced camping option, with cabin and tent options. There are 2 pools onsite as well aa a cery well kept playground.
