I would rate this Canadian Tire lower than one star but it’s the lowest possible option allowed. There is only one decent employee in the entire store and he works in the tool department. Someone needs to fire the rest of the employees and do a complete re-hiring with people that can pass elementary school level math tests.

Well... I normally love shopping at Canadian Tire in Trenton Ontario.. but it is with great frustration I must change my review. I was trying to return two unopened  ,never used products WITH the original receipt. NO WAY!! It was over 90 days , I explained the unusual circumstances  why to the manager only to be treated as if I  was the most unintelligent person on the planet. I will not go back to this store. I most likely will cut up my credit card too. So sad to be treated that way.

This is the worst Canadian Tire store that I have ever visited.  The service is absolutely appalling.  We just went to purchase a ratcheting wrench set that was on sale for $199.99, with a regular price of $449.99.  We showed the tools associate the ad in the flyer, he looked it up on the computer, found the tools for us and handed them to us.  When we went to try and pay, it scanned in with the regular price.  This kit was a standard kit with two additional kits attached to it, totalling 44 pieces.  They tried to scan the one box, but obviously the SKU on that box did not match the sale item with the two additional kits attached.  They looked up the SKU from the flier and saw that there was one left.  Which made sense, because the associate had given us the last one.  We went back and showed them where the kit had been on the shelf.  It clearly showed the kit, with the sale price, with the correct wrench quantities.  The regular price was even exactly what our kit rang up to at the cash register.  The employees could not comprehend this.  Even the manager could not wrap his head around this simple error.  How can you possibly have such incompetent staff?  Especially at a management level?  This store is completely sub-par when compared to any other Canadian Tire and that is saying a lot.  Won't be visiting this store again unless there is absolutely no other option.  If I was broken down, shot in the leg and being chased by rabid dogs, I would still try to make it to the next town over.

I wish there was something lower than 1 star... Very over priced for a simple diagnostic of the check engine light. Cost me almost $100.00 for something that took under 20 mins! If you ever need to figure out an issue with the check engine light just go to the Belleville Canadian Tire! They only charge $40.00 for the same thing! When I told the Belleville store what the Trenton store charged they couldn't believe it. They said, "You should really go and talk to them because they shouldn't have charged you that much." Never going back to the Trenton location. And I am going to tell every single person I know and also any costumers that come into my store. What a horrible location.

UPDATE THE HOURS CRAPPY TIRE. Just wasted gas driving to trenton to go to your store cuz it says it’s open but clearly isn’t. So update them!
