WHEEL CAME OFF MY CAR ON 401! I got my winter tires and windshield wipers put on at this Canadian Tire. They never told me to return to have my wheels tightened after a couple weeks, as all garages should when they put on wheels. My front left tire came off while I was driving on the 401. Another mechanic later measured the torque on the other 3 wheels and they were each around 85 ft lbs, but they are supposed to be 120 f lbs. They also forgot to put my wipers on so I had to come back a second time. Do not go here if you value your safety.

I had a horrible experience at this Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre. I was having battery issues with my car so I went in to see if I could book an appointment. The person at the desk of the Auto Centre barely acknowledged me, and when she finally did, told me they couldn't help me for several days. I accepted and booked an appointment for later in the week. After, as I was backing out of the Canadian Tire parking lot my car died. I was blocking several cars and unable to move. A very kind older shopper tried to help me boost my car with no luck. The temperature outside was at least -20 degrees. We went back inside to see if the service centre could at least help us push the car into a parking spot so as to not block the lot from other customers - the older shopper had just had a hip replacement and could not help with this. The person at the desk was once again extremely short with us and very rude. She told us that she wouldn't ask any of the service people to help because it might but them behind schedule and suggested I call a tow truck. I was beside myself. I will never use this Canadian Tire Service Centre again, and would highly recommend others look else where for service.

DO NOT USE AUTO SERVICE CENTER. They damaged my vehicle, lied and charged me for work that was never done. This after waiting 3.5 hrs to change 4 tires. Balancing weights flew off my tires at 80km per hr and broke through my wheelwell almost sending me in the ditch. Charged 130 for an alignment that was never performed ( bolts used for alignment still were completely covered with dirt and had not been touched by a wrench). Now my wheels are unbalanced and I still need an alignment as my car pulls to one side. No way I'm bringing it back here for them to "fix there own crappy work. Never again. BE WARNED!!

I was completely satisfied. I was wondering around looking for a new mop when I was approached by a staff member named Justin. He was sweet and helpful and found the exact item I was looking for. A few minutes later Caroline was asking me if I found what I needed. The Kingston center store is my favourite in the city. All the staff are so friendly.

I like Canadian Tire stores but had a less than stellar experience today at this store. I ordered 4 summer tires for my Honda Civic online and arranged for an appointment at 9 am, several days in advance for the installation. I met reception and they said it would take about an hour so I waited in the waiting room. At 10:10 I noticed my car had been moved in the parking lot so I asked reception if I had been forgotten. Reception checked with the garage and my work order got stuck in the mail tube (they use a pneumatic system to deliver work orders). Once they found the work order they proceeded to install my tires. Check out was slow too - about 10 minutes to pay for the service. It took a total of almost 2 hours to change 4 tires, with an appointment. The staff were friendly and courteous but service should be better and more efficient. I will shop Canadian Tire again but not likely go here for auto service.
