Great local hardware store with plenty of helpful employees. One guy had lots of experience repairing old plaster walls, which our neighborhood is full of, lol. More helpful advice than This Old House. Yes, they are attentive, but I can have a sense of humor, or tell people I'm fine if I don't need help. I go here often, and usually find everything I need.

I've been coming to this store all summer for a job I've been doing. The people that try to help are annoyingly standing over you the entire time. I asked where I could find a certain drill bit, a forstner 3/4 to be exact, the older gentlemen helping me responded with what are you doing maybe I can get you the right tool, (I already had the right tool) so I had to spend 30 min explaining the wire railing, which he still didn't understand, so back to my original question!!!!! and it's this kind of customer service that makes me want to go to Lowe's!!

Bought a "Universal" Replacement Oven Knob before Christmas, found out it wasn't so universal. Took it back today, without receipt, and instead of trying to help me with exchange, offered nothing but "Can't help you  without receipt". Will not return. Now I know why online gets more business.

The manager is knowledgeable and the staff is helpful. They might feel overbearing if your used to wondering around in a store without anyone asking to help lol. Good people and lots of knowledge.
