My husband and I hosted a large family dinner here during a family reunion weekend and the service was simply outstanding. Not only did we have to make several changes to the time and number of guests leading up to the event, but due to the mix of tolerance in spending, we also did separate checks. This was a group of 40+ people and at every turn, the Canyon Cafe staff went out of their way to be helpful. The dinner was a hit and they even helped us cut a cake for the two youngest of our party as it was their birthday. Would definitely recommend!

The most amazing blending of flavors makes their food some of the best I have ever tasted. The wait staff both visits have been very knowledgeable of the menu, area and history of the building. Great experience. Thank you.

Tried to trick a group of 16 adults into buying $14 meals instead of $6. Special menus were placed on the table advertising $6 until 8 PM, but the waiter - ONLY when asked - said that this only applied to the bar. This was not stated on the menu. Waiter refused to get the manager when asked, then took back all the menus before the manager arrived. Manager insisted the deal was only until 7 and that the menus would not have been placed on the table at all. (Calling 16 adults liars AFTER they had all ordered meals off that very same menu which was now rescinded.) After insistence that the menu be brought back to check the time, it still said 8 PM. Manager only agreed to honor the $6 for 3 of the 16 meals.

Canyon Cafe is a local favorite. They offer Southwest style cuisine . The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly. The building was part of a cement company the rooms are massive and the temperature can be cool to cold, so bring a light jacket or sweater. Our favorite dish is the chicken fried chicken and it's not found on the menu but ask your server about it or the other daily specials.

May 14th was the second time I have eaten here and just like the first time the food and the service was exceptional. Last Saturday Alex was our server and he was awesome. I recommend Canyon Cafe to others and will continue to eat there.
