Canyons School District, founded on July 1, 2009, a public-school system in Utah, focuses on the college- and career-readiness of every student.
As we head back to school for the 2017-2018 school year, CSD wishes to thank its leaders, employees and communities for their continued support of and dedication to preparing all students for college and careers. Canyons District is dedicated to increased student achievement, promoting innovation, engaging communities and providing excellent customer service. Since 2010, when the community approved a $250 million tax-rate-neutral bond measure, CSD has rebuilt or renovated 12 schools. The 13th major construction project, a renovation of Indian Hills Middle, is now underway. In November, 2017 CSD voters approved a $283 million tax-rate-neutral bond proposal to continue building and renovating schools all across the District.
The mission of Canyons District is to encourage and help students become college- and career-ready and find a meaningful purpose in life. We recognize that Canyon District schools belong to the public, and therefore we strive to provide superior customer service to all patrons and stakeholders of the District. We will build public confidence and trust by conducting ourselves according to the highest standards of professional, ethical, and civil behavior.
