This school used to be good, until they changed the law. Now they hired people that never teach before and has no idea how to teach. And all the kids are falling. unbelivable.

Good athletics but the education isnt the best

I had my son go here from Kinder to 2nd grade.   For 3rd grade, we put him in Adams, because I felt that Common Core math was very bad.  He was doing okay at Adams, but the work was so stressful, and punishments were severe (children are humiliated for even being late a few times -- they are put in another class staring at the corner for 30 mins for punishment).   One day, he was fed up, and begged me to put him back in Norterra.  I don't believe it is necessary to put small children under so much stress and humiliation as incentives.   I moved him back.  Norterra now has Eureka math, and it appears to be much better than Common Core.  And the teachers here are generally more caring and attentive than Adams (teachers at Adams are stressed out for some reason, and some of them lash out at parents in the parking lot!  If you don't believe me just drive down there in the morning and look at their stony faces...)
