One of my favorite restaurants in South Florida for seafood. Amazing chefs, great food, great ambiance, polite servers, great experience... its great for a date night with a girl you want to impress or for anniversaries with your spouse. The boat ride is free, you just tip the driver...  I highly recommend it. I guarantee if you eat here once you will do it over and over again.

I live four blocks from this pace and have going there for over forty years.  The food has always been a little pricey but pretty good until this evening when my wife and I went there for dinner.  I had the salmon which had that familiar frozen fishy taste and dried out from over cooking.  Our  waitress asked how the dinner was and I just could not lie and told her the salmon was not very good.  She said she would take it off the bill, but I said no because I was starving and I ate it.  So the owner comes to our table to defend the salmon telling me how fresh it was and all that.. I am no dummy and I have been eating salmon for my entire life and this was the worst I have ever had.  I think this place is enjoying a good economy and the popularity of being associated with Al Capone.  If they served their food in some rural Ohio town I think they would go broke.

The reason this restaurant is worth the three stars is because of the novelty of the place and the freshness of the fish I had. The red snapper while fresh, lacked flavor. The waitress kept trying to get me to try “Johnny style” which I declined. She seemed offended. I’m sorry, but I’m just not a fan of buttery foods. My date got his shrimps Johnny style. He said it didn’t really have any real flavor.  Our waitress was an older lady. She wasn’t very friendly. Cap’s is the type of place that you visit once to say you’ve done it. There was nothing that really made me wait to go again.  Except maybe to watch the sunset on a clear day.

One of the most amazing places I have ever visited. There's so much history here. You have to take a boat to get here which makes it even cooler. The food was so great too (possibly the best crab cake I've ever encountered).

Historic bar and restaurant with good food where you park and are taken over by their boat. Their menu is primarily super fresh sea food so check it out online before you go. A fun evening.
