I went there at night and the view from there is soooo amazing! 
Would definitely recommend. I'll upload better pictures soon. You can watch the whole harbor and the city skyline from here. 

Parking is spacious and lots. 
But the way to this place is quite narrow. 
But worth it..

Gem of a park in Anacortes! It is easy to get to, only a couple minutes out of the route to the ferry, and views are fantastic! We have caught the setting sun, dropping into the Olympic Mountains and once mid-day we saw a fire-boat practicing using lots of their spray nozzles. There is always something interesting to see!

The view of Anacortes is great from over the marina. Awesome views of Mount Baker with clear weather. Added bonus, take a short 7 minute hike to an abandoned amphitheater over the water. Park on top, walk down the road and take the trail right by the speed limit sign.

If you’re driving nearby, I strongly recommend a quick stop here. You can drive up and get an amazing view of the surrounding areas(even including a clear look at Mt. Baker on a clear day)

Enjoy the beautiful views of Anacortes, the Cascade Mountains and the San Juan Islands all in one place.  It's a short drive from town to this 37 acre wooded park. 
Parking isn't plentiful at the top and can be crowded on sunny weekends, however it is possible to park along the road on those busy days. 
Pay attention, use caution while driving to the parking area, there are often many deer along the road and they can become unpredictable.
