I spend 4-6 weeks each year in the hospital, for the last 25yrs. They really care!!!! Friendly staff, caring and helpful. They listened to my needs, and truly showed consern for me. I met a nurse who deserves a purple heart for the way she treats her patients and staff. She was not the only one. It's amazing how something as simple as a smile can help with the healing process. Cape Coral Hospital continue this beautiful ripple effect. Thank you, Brandy Crowley

I came to the hospital for consistent vomiting, headaches, fatigue and red rash that was very apparent in my face. I have experienced these issues for the last few days. I thought it was just a bug that would go away. I told my wife that I didn't want to go to the hospital just because I knew what to expect from the hospital as soon as I got there. I finally gave in and went. As I walked in...of course they were very busy and under staffed. I was seen by a triage nurse to check my vitals. My blood pressure was pretty high and the rash was still on my face. The fill in triage nurse was dismissing my rash and my blood pressure and stated it was just because of excitement. I was then placed back into to waiting area. I was called back up again to the front desk just to do registration by the lady at the desk and was informed that there was no room for me. I looked around in the waiting room and it was empty again. Everyone else after me was admitted. I was left to wait and rot in the waiting room. They acted like I was just there to hang out and my symptoms were not important. This was exactly why I didn't want to go in the first place. I already knew what was going to happen. I waisted time and was treated like garbage from the moment that I walked in. Not acceptable. I will never be going back even if I was dying! No one has patience nor concern. We are all just caddie waiting to be sloutered.

One star for being the only hospital in the area, and one star for the parking lot. Ample parking lot, great visibility, clear cut perpendicular lines. Now, I have already spoken to them about my three day/two night stay, so probably will not get a response. Kudo's to physical therapy, and one nurse who was terrific and I identified her a few times to customer service. Nursing assistants, what can be said, probably pretend to work since they pretend to pay them. Now I am not alone in my criticism since out in public my operation and my walk is quite distinctive, so people do ask and commiserate with the same experience. Your first stay at CCH is a wake up call to take care of yourself and never go back. Note: emergency room, great experience awhile back although do recommend injury for late in the evening, when they aren't busy.

First experience with a hospital in 8 years and first ever in this area. I have not been kept informed about what they are doing or why and have not been given a time frame in which he might be released. It just seems to keep going on forever. Then a person called a "case manager" called me. I have never encountered anyone like this before. She grilled me on the phone about how I might have given him the ailment that can be passed to another by direct contact and that he had told her I was very sick and weak. No such thing. I am fine except for sinus and arthritis in my right knee. I told her several times that I was fine and had no symptoms and she just kept asking me a different way each time. She finally said that my husband had told her that I was in ill health. I called my husband and he assured me that he never said any such thing. I am very angry and upset over this, and swear we will never use that hospital again for anything, ever!

Worst hospital in Lee County. Go to a different one like HealthPark or Gulf Coast if you have a choice. Especially if it is over night. Nursing is horrible, very rude. They argue with you if you ask questions. Give you attitude if you ask for ice or drink. Most of them only check on the patients if they push the call button. My wife's room had a bed and a small chair that you sit at a dinner table with that's it. Very uncomfortable Place to be.
