Favorite place in Shadyside — scratch that, my favorite place in Pittsburgh. Bartenders are unbeatable, beer selection is   , food is insane. Wish I could leave more stars

Pretty nice place! Not the biggest draft selection I've seen, but still plenty of solid options among them. Good whiskey selection, and the bartender was great!

I never had better meat in my mouth than the cheeseburger I had here. I swear to god it changed my life.

The biggest little bar in Shadyside. Bartenders are second to none in both concocting drinks and conversation and I’m convinced there is some level of wizardry going on in the kitchen.  Never a bad night to be at Cappy’s Cafe

Got breakfast here today. Eggs, potatoes, bacon, everything was terrible like I'm not even sure the eggs were real. They were disgusting. The potatoes were also disgusting. I wish I didn't eat them but I was starving and I paid for it. It was a waste of money, time, everything.

The favorite local neighborhood pub that says it all. A NO FRYing kitchen is exceptional. Strawberry Chick. Salad YUM!  Best Bartenders & owner operated. Conversation, friendly folks and Sports always great.

Kind staff and quick and cheap food! We liked the atmosphere here. They're open early and close late.

Kind staff and decent prices, but service took quite a while just to get our order and then rarely checked in thereafter for refills or anything else. We had to flag them down to even get the check. Still, it has that old school down home hole in the wall kind of feel to it that some find comforting.

brunch was subpar. some of the worst food i’ve had in pittsburgh. 3 stars because at least they tried. cant comment on bar/dinner food

My husband and I love Cappy's! Very affordable and delicious food. We typically get coffee and something off their Sunday brunch menu. Omlettes are my go to. Staff are friendly and attentive. They take card and cash both.
