While visiting this location,  my stepson who has autism was looking for a trash can to throw his garbage away. He was approached by an employee named Kari who immediately began to snap at him in a very harsh, raised voice. She asked him what he was looking for. He is non-verbal and when he did not respond, she continued to yell even louder. "Hello??  Do you speak English??" is only a small sample of her rude, demeaning, and  painfully unprofessional remarks.  Other staff members including the manager, Chris were sympathetic and apologetic for her behavior. Kari however, took no accountability and only got defensive when confronted by my sons father. It is heartbreaking having my happy, cheerful, loving child be brought to tears by such a belligerent person while making a simple car payment. I  hope management will take action and not allow such a hostile person to be employed there any longer. I will never be comfortable doing business here.

My autistic son went there with his father yesterday. He is 10 years old and non-verbal but very happy. He was done with his French fries and was looking for a garbage can when employee Kari Fasnacht came out yelling (not loud speaking yelling but rude annoyed yelling) at my son "what are you looking for?" My son didn't respond but stopped and was scared by this stranger being so aggressive. She then yelled again "Do you speak English?" 

My son's father came up and confronted her by asking why is she talking to him like that and told her he is Autistic and don't speak. Kari showed NO remorse and defended her actions, saying "How am I supposed to know!?" My poor child is still upset about this the next day. 

Does Carhop defend this woman yelling and scaring an Autistic child, who was also being borderline racist and profiling that him being (half) brown means he doesn't speak English? Does Carhop also believe we need to put a label on our disabled son to avoid being verbally attacked?

Absolutely amazing! Chris is a huge help and gets it together all nicely, he’s super friendly and gets your needs met. Easy ways to finance and get into the right vehicle.

Looks like all the Facebook reviews were taken down. So now I will post everywhere I can until I hear the person involved receives some sort of genuine apology. My family visited Carhop yesterday. An employee Carrie decided to yell at my great nephew and then at one point asked if he spoke english or couldn't hear. You see he was looking for a garbage can. When his Dad explained he had autism Carrie snapped back " how was she supposed to know he was autistic"  Yelling at a customer not ok, yellling at a kid not okay but then no apology and a snarky remark about how was she supposed to know. Word of advice Invest in sensitivity training!

Unprofessional employee, Carrie was very disrespectful to a friend's child. No one should be subjected to the kind of behavior this individual has shown. As long as this person is employed at Carhop, I would recommend not giving them business.
