Nice Market with an amazing selection of sandwiches and other great food offerings. A little something for eceryine.
We ordered tri tip and bbq chicken for our 4th of July party and it was fantastic. Everybody was deliciously full and happy. Easy to order and friendly service. We highly recommend Carol's Market!
Friendly staff, convenient location, good selection of snacks and goodies, but WAY overpriced. Especially there hot box. For example there basic ground beef and bean burrito from there hot box is $11, a low quality chicken sandwich for de-thawed chicken on a cheap bun is like $6… It would be one thing if there ingredients were home made maybe??? But even then that’s still not reasonable priced.. The food from the hot box comes from smart and final as well as the meat they smoke for a discounted price for low quality food that they mark up at least 200% if not more on some items.. It’s offensive the mark up they have on some items. It’s as if they don’t care because they know that all the wealthy construction workers are going to pay it.
The tri tip sandwich was SO disappointing. It was dry and so boring. It would be much better if it came with melted cheese and tomatoes and onions. Macaroni salad was awful. I was hopeful to have found a new hot sandwich place. I'll keep looking.
I have to say that I love their pulled pork sandwiches. It's a great place for quick shopping visits. Need a drink? Or something for lunch? Stop in and check out what they have to offer. They usually have a big BBQ going out front, and offer tri-tip sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, etc. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.
I threw a surprise party for my husband's 40th Birthday party which I planned for 4 months. I had gone with Carol's Market over multiple local businesses for the catering. We agreed on a price of $420 to feed a party if 40. The agreement was tri tip, dinner rolls and baked beans. When they delivered the food the morning if his party they only delivered tri tip for 20 people and dinner rolls for 40 people. However, we had no baked beans. We had contacted the market and the employee did not know what to do. Luckily Tracy came through and delivered more tri tip In this situation there was a re fund discussed and I have yet to see it. The party was 2 weeks ago.
Always worth the side trip off I-80, i love this place. The food is amazing, and there's a great selection of local beer too! Do yourself a favor and stop by if you get the chance
Just bought a pastrami sandwich and was almost 8 bucks for 3 sliced of meat 2 slices of cheese a little lettuce a few sprouts. The bread was soggy and it was total rip off will never go back to this market
Best Breakfast Burritos In Town!
Carol's is my favorite place to stop for good food and drinks. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Shasta always has a great attitude along with all the other staff. Great local stop for my area. Thank you!!
