Carpe Librum is a charity used bookstore owned and operated by D.C. education nonprofit Turning the Page. All inventory in Carpe Librum has been donated, mostly through Turning the Page's large network of used book drives in area businesses, apartment buildings, and universities. Carpe Librum has thousands of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs for sale, all priced $1 - $4. Proceeds from Carpe Librum fund Turning the Page's parent engagement programs in D.C. public schools. Visit www.turningthepage.org for more info or visit TTP's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/turningthepage). Carpe Librum accepts donations of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs right to the store whenever it is open. Visit www.carpelibrum.org for more information.
Proceeds help fund Turning the Page, a local nonprofit that links D.C. public schools, families and our community so that, together, we can ensure D.C. students receive valuable educational resources and a high-quality public education.
