As a theater buff, this is my home away from home. The staff greets you like family and always makes you feel welcome. The shows are always excellent, including shows and events brought in from around the country. The art that lines the walls from local artists is beautiful and you can even purchase a piece that catches your eye. I've taken a few classes in dance, pottery, and painting there and have found each of the teachers to be knowledgable and patient, despite my complete lack of talent in all three areas! The North Tampa Market held out back in the beautifully shaded grounds is full of great local vendors and food. I haven't found an event here that I haven't enjoyed!

Marketplace on the second Saturday of every month; amazing. Great vendors, delicious food, pet friendly and the best opportunity to support small businesses!! Mark your calendars because this cultural center in Carrollwood is doing a great job giving all these vendors the opportunity to show their products to this community. They have plants, garden ornaments, pet food and products, homemade yuminess like chocolate, teas, salsa, fruits n veggies, Mexican awesomeness, food trucks, homemade soaps, honey, organic stuff, Jewelry, cutting boards, and other stuff you will definitely find useful for you or your loved ones. Don't stay home, join everyone at the cultural center in Carrollwood next time they have the fresh Marketplace!!!

Very easy to access and viewable from the road with a big sign which includes their address. The parking lot is a good size and has handicapped parking. The center itself is truly amazing and impressive. The moment you walk in the front doors you are greeted with beautiful artwork hanging on the walls and a monthly calendar of events, as well as a front and center piece showing the debuted or featured artists. The laws are also adorned with more art as you make your way around and into the Centre. The theatre/performance area is attractive and the seats are individual and cushiony. Although I myself have not been there to see any performance, I am enticed to go back because I know the quality of the shows they produce. The grounds outside behind the center are large and well shaded with many trees. They also have a small landing area to accommodate set up for certain events. They have long white tables available also to seat your guests. Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit there although not going for an event at the center inside, but rather the Food Truck Rally that they hosted this past weekend. There was a decent turnout and the food trucks they had their where amazing. They truly catered to every member of the family having something each person could find. So in my opinion, if you're looking to enjoy a great theater experience and a bit of Art in a night on the town, I would include Carrollwood Cultural Center in your plans. Their staff is very friendly and willing to help as well.

I love this place. They offer so much. Have outdoir concerts and festivals, Broadway like shows. You can learn how to paint how to draw how to sing. A true Cultural Center. As a realtor who lists homes for 1%, in and around Carrollwood, I get busy and I like to relax here and get away from it all.

Variety of activities and events from no-charge up. I particularly like the theatrical performances and the free afternoon movies.
