"Carson’s Food and Drink welcomes you to enjoy new and exciting chef driven recipes, paired with prohibition style cocktails, hand selected wines, craft beers, Kentucky bourbons and great scotch. It’s our pleasure to serve you in our rustic, elegant and refined atmosphere.

From our barn doors from Dixiana Farm, to the reclaimed horse fencing from Sierra Farm and our fine Kentucky bourbons that rest on years of history with shelves from Calumet farm, we invite you to enjoy some of Kentucky’s history. The Buffalo Trace mural was painted to look like an old family portrait that would hang above the fireplace, with bright colors and countless hours of detail. The Woodford reserve mural is made to look as if it had been painted years ago on the side of an old building, faded as the years have passed. We thank Mike Martinez, local artist, for his beautiful work.

Under our foundation is our family bible. My grandfather gave his bible to my father and my father to me, and I passed it on to Carson. The Bible, along with a dedication letter to the city of Lexington and to everyone that enters Carson’s, is folded and placed between the pages of this old torn leather covered bible.

Coming up with the name of our restaurant was easy; I wanted the name to reflect our dedication to excellence, our kindness to other, and our commitment to you, our guests and employees. I only had to look to my son Carson who embodies all of these things and so much more. We’re glad you are here."
