Service was okay, very nice wait staff. Decor extremely outdated and seating was uncomfortable. Food was awful, granted it was a steakhouse and we just wanted a couple of apps. But we ordered, shrimp cocktail, cajun shrimp, and sauteed whole mushrooms. The shrimp cocktail was bland and watery, the cajun shrimp was swimming in a pool of oil, and the mushrooms weren't sauteed at all (they were boiled in butter, no browning and no seasoning whatsoever and had the texture of an eyeball). I would not recommend this place. On top of all that the hostess sat down for 90% of the time we were there and talked to people very unprofessional. 3 stars for service, 2 stars for decor, 1 star for food.

I have been going here for years, my steak, potato, salad was good. But I ordered saute' mushrooms I was very disappointed, I was served canned, not even heated.I Remember getting the big whole mushrooms soaked in that good garlic butter. Bummer 😞

An old crowd favorite. One of those local holes in the wall, proudly displaying 1970's old decore, come for the Hot Browns,and especially the Nighthawk Special: tender steaks wallowing in garlic butter. Very worth the visit.

Came to Lexington for a ball game and wanted a good steak house. Well, this was not it. Ordered a filet medium rare and it was so rare it was hard to cut and forget chewing it. Appetizers were forgotten and so was extra dressing. The white bread dipped in the shrimp was the best part of the meal and it was just bc I was starving from the rest not being edible.
