Want to give this raggedy ass store 1 star, but you have to make a choice. Horrible service Lousy staff! Twice I have had 2 white female clerks or it could've been the same one acting like they don't want to wait on a black customer. Lousy dept store and this is why everything has moved up north and south. This dept store needs to be the next thing to close in Circle Centre Mall.

I remember when Carson's in Chicago was something special.  It's hard to believe this is the same company.  The store is dirty and the merchandising is lackluster at best.  It's as if they don't care.  This is the last department store in downtown Indianapolis and  had heard that the city was backstopping them so that they wouldn't pull out like Nordstrom's did.  I suspect that might be true, but whether it is or not, it's pretty clear that their heart is just not into this location.

very poor service at the Clinique counter.  Associate gave me the wrong bag and didn't notice until next morning.  Called Store, spoke with Alex, was assured my product would be replaced - then 24 hours Alex didn't remember speaking with me.  Store manager refused to give her biz card, was treated like a thief.  To top it off, initially refused to give me gift with purchase saying only one per customer.  Very rude and ridiculous.   I will never be back.

I recently visited this department store at Circle Centre Mall in Indy.  The carpets were filthy throughout the store and in the dressing rooms.  There were clothes laying on the floor.  This is the only anchor store in the mall and really needs a face-lift.  It was difficult to find someone to wait on me.  There are more people moving downtown and we want a clean and inviting department store to shop!
