Despite all the parking-related frustration fellow renters are voicing, I am actually quite happy that a parking policy has been put in place. Up until a month ago and for almost a year to date, it was literally impossible to find parking if you got home after 9pm or so. Personally, on some nights, I had to either sleep at a friend's house or park illegally and risk being towed. I should have the right to find parking and enjoy my apartment regadless of when I get home. So, I am rather satisfied with the new policy because it has cleared our community of free loaders and all those cars belonging to people who don't even live here and has since allowed me (and others) to come home from work at midnight and not stress about parking. The all summer I have complained about the lack of parking, and I wasn't the only one either! Also, it is only fair that those who have more than one car pay for the extra ones: to me it makes sense that the more resources/real estate you use, the more you should pay. Without this parking policy, not everyone was being guaranteed access to a parking spot. At least now we have a working situation we can improve upon. I agree with those who say that the visitors policy is a bit cumbersome, but having to request a permit every time you have a guest prevents temporary guests from becoming permanent once again and clogging the parking lot. I personally have asked the manager about getting a permit after hours and was told that if I called during office hours, they would drop off one at my door: so it is not impossible to get a permit even if you are not on site during the leasing office's business hours. Overall, this policy is an excellent starting point, and hopefully it will get better to accommodate each person's specific needs.

I would not recommend living here. I read many of the complaints on here regarding parking and their answer to it is to severely restrict it and more or less penalize the people who live here. I work a basic 9-5 schedule and to obtain a visitors permit, I have to physically go to the office to do so if I want anyone to visit me. Unfortunately, I work at those times and so I'm out of luck if I want to have anyone including my own mother to visit me. I brought this up to the office and was basically told there is nothing anyone can do. Essentially, unless it's a weekend, I am not allowed visitors, my own mother can't come visit her grandchildren because there's no street parking and this policy ignores probably most of the needs of the complex. The list of reasons you get towed is ridiculous. I understand the need to enforce parking but now it's at the expense of the people who live here and pay their rent on time. Their lack of creative thinking on problem solving is amazing. I'll be moving the moment my lease is up and before if I can. Seriously, don't live here, drive further down Harbour Pointe Blvd and check out the other million apt complexes.

Our tub has been in terrible shape since the the first month after we moved in, we had them come do a resurfacing last year. We have a cat and was told last time it wasn't an issue, this month they sent someone out to do the resurfacing and they refused to because our cat was there. Now I am charged an $82 Fee because they came out and didn't actually do anything. When I called to figure out why, I was told it was because our cat was home. I asked why was it okay last time and not an issue, and this time it was? No answer. Told to "pay it or you may get a late fee on rent for not paying the full amount". Seems like we are being ripped off. Seriously unhappy. ***UPDATED PARKING ISSUES***:So today I call to find out when we will be getting a carport because the office sent out an email stating they will begin parking enforcement tomorrow, and was told they wouldn't actually start enforcing until the 21st because there's a wait list of residence to get a carport and if you don't get one by the 21st, you have to pay for a garage or park off the lot. So let's get this straight, 10 days before you plan to enforce new parking rules you are sending out emails when you DON'T EVEN HAVE enough carports for us. Mukilteo has zero street parking, and adding a $75 rental fee for carport or a $200 rental fee for a garage is literally ripping off residents. It seems like a scam for you to force residents to pay, yet cleared over 10 parking spots in front of the office for "employee parking". I have lived here for almost 3 years, this will be our last. I was in the office when a resident came on asking about visitor parking for her mother who comes to see her grandfather, and the office staff was very "That's your problem" towards her. This is why people are leaving, and why most of us should. I hope this helps someone else stay away, they are trying to trap residents to paying for a carport/garage 2 months before the holidays. Shameful.

I thankfully have not lived here, but I am here to share my experience with the leasing office. I would give this place no stars if I could. My husband and I have been here twice now, about two months apart. In September we were looking for a 2 bedroom or 3 depending on pricing and square footage. When we walked in, the manager (I don't remember her name, she just said she was the manager), completely brushed us off. I asked if they had availability, she told me they didn't and just gave me her card and whisked us away. Did not offer us a tour in case something was available the following month, did not tell us about the community or even tell us what amenities they had. We were completely brushed off and given a card so we could check back later on. Everywhere else we looked, even if they were full, took down our information so they could contact us when they had availability come up. But that was not the case here. Fastfoward to October and we went into the leasing office on a Saturday. Originally the office was closed. Even though their hours were posted and it was only 2 PM. I assumed they were showing someone a home. We called about an hour later and someone was there so we went and visited. The woman we encountered was different this time, and she was extremely rude. She bluntly told us that she "doubted we could afford to live here" and suggested we "look in Mukilteo". Mind you my husband makes $80,000 a year, we could definitely afford the rent. We just were very strict on our price range because their renovated 2 bedrooms are more than most 3 bed 2 bathrooms we had looked out elsewhere in Mukilteo and the square footage us much less. She did once again not offer to give us a tour, did not tell us about the community or the amenities. We were however put in their system this time in case one of their "old apartments" that were in our price range were available. I've been to Carvel, On the green, Bay Court and Bella Terra. Bella Terra is huge so they're more expensive, On the green is smaller than most places and older yet the same price, and Bay Court is an amazing price for a large apartment. Needless to say, we are leasing a 3 bedroom 2 bath from Bay Court. I encountered an amazing staff there with beautiful apartments that are actually cheaper than Carvel and bigger with better amenities. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I've heard nothing but bad things and experienced nothing but bad things.

ATTENTION FUTURE RENTERS Do not live here, I will give you a free reasons why: 1. Even parking legally can get your vehicle towed. 2. Thin walls 3. The front office never respond to you, we had a hole in our wall (placed there by the complex air coming thru and all) and It didn't get fixed until 6 months after. 4. When something breaks, (garage door for example) it takes a close to a week for any physical response. 5. Front office is filled with sarcastic individuals that refuse the service of contacting you back. 6. You end up paying more then the rent primarily because this complex will cause you so much annoyance and strife, that it literally take a toll on your stress levels. Imagine waking up in you sub par apartment to your car missing because of a tow your complex signed off on. No one is available for contact, and you're left stranded. Not to mention you have had previous fallouts with this complex, because of issues they have caused. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORTS COMPLEX I HAVE EVER BEEN STUCK IN A LEASE WITH. PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE, ANYWHERE ELSE THAN HERE.
