The train should be on the right side of the tracks.

The construction of the station on the other side doesn't appear to have been studied thoroughly..   or, the study is flawed.   The gains seemingly don't outweigh the investment.  But may in the long term economic outlook.  Village should work to develop this area of highway 14.

Ths grassy frontage between inbound track and 14 should be designed as a 1 lane dropoff, pickup area.

Traffic calming features should be incorporated on 14 at train stop on both sides of road

Add an addfitional crosswalk at north end of station.  Maybe traffic light.  

Huntington Beach has some decent precedents for traffic calming along a difficult road crossing highway 1 between beach and urban area.  

Consider transit oriented development zoning for old Kojaks site.  Zone for higher density in this area.  Consider Urban transept T5,T6 in model form-based codes.  Maybe a mixed use conference center/hotel like what is planned for AMTRAK station in Paso Robles, CA

This station should have a welll designed viaduct to make it less of a stampede and more civil towards handling pedestrian and auto traffic.  The area is too congested to have a mainstreet USA transit stop.

The station should be on the inbound side and not the outbound side for those cold or rainy days.
